Panasonic launches Eluga Tapp smartphone in India at INR 8,990 with fingerprint scanner

The festival of light – Diwali is near, and companies are launching new smartphones in Indian market. Now Japanese electronics manufacturer Panasonic launched a new smartphone Eluga Tapp in India. The 5-inch display, 4G VoLTE smartphone priced at INR 8,999. It comes with a fingerprint scanner at front. It also comes with an add-on security feature called ‘Android for Work’ that lets you gives you work profile on the smartphone.

Talking about the smartphone, it comes with a 5-inch IPS HD display. The dimension of the smartphone is 143×71×8.15mm and weighs around 138 grams. There is 1.25GHz quad-core processor along with 2GB RAM on board. There is 16GB internal storage built in along with up to 32GB memory card support as well. It runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box.

Talking about the cameras of the smartphone, it has 8-megapixel auto focus rear camera along with a 5-megapixel front camera. There is Front Finger Print Sensor, Proximity, Accelerometer and Ambient Light Sensor built in. It comes with a 2800mAh non-removable battery.

Talking about the connectivity in the smartphone, it comes with dual SIM cards support and it also supports 4G VoLTE as well. There is Bluetooth v4.0, Wi-Fi, GPS support as well. It will be available in Champagne Gold and Silver Gray colors.
