InFocus Launches Epic 1 in India with Deca-core processor and 5.5-inch display

InFocus a US based smartphone brand yesterday launched a new smartphone Epic 1. Epic 1 comes with a deca-core processor and has a 5.5-inch display on top. The price of the smartphone is not out yet, but the company said that it would be available on Amazon India. InFocus launched some other smartphone as well in India and claims it has more than 250 service centers across India. It will be available in Black and White colors.

Talking about the specification of InFocus Epic 1, it comes with 5.5-inch LCD with the resolution of 1920*1080 pixels. The pixel density of the screen is 401 ppi and support multi-touch. It powered by 2.3GHz dual core A72+ 1.85 GHz Quad core Cortex A53 + 1.4 GHz Quad core Cortex A53 MediaTek MT6797M processor. There are total ten cores in the smartphone. Along with that, there is a Mali T880 MP4 GPU as well. It has 3GB RAM on board along with 32GB internal storage. Storage is expandable up to 128 GB via an SD card.

Epic 1 runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0. The smartphone powered by a Li-ion 3000mAh battery out of the box. The company claims that it can deliver up to 10 hours of talk time and up to 500 hours of standby time. It also says that one can listen to music up to 30 hours on it or can watch videos up to 5 hours. Talking about the camera of the smartphone, it comes with 16-megapixel auto focus rear camera. Rear camera supports geotagging, HDR, Panorama and can record up to 1080p videos at 30 frames per second.

Talking about the connectivity of the smartphone, it is a dual SIM smartphone with 4G support and comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, A-GPS and Micro USB 2.0. Recently InFocus also launched Bingo 50+ smartphone in India at price tag of INR 7,999. The smartphone listed on InFocus India website. Recently company teased the Epic 1 on its Facebook page with”Oh My God!! It’s A 10” that means a deca-core processor.
